Inspired by Hollywood Movies and TV that have brought to life America’s most infamous prison, Alcotraz is London’s first immersive theatrical cocktail bar. From the orange jumpsuits upon entrance, to the real metallic cells, Alcotraz becomes the perfect backdrop to enjoy a drink within an epic yet intimate environment. When convicted to Alcotraz, inmates are taken into an exciting world of mischief as they are instructed by notorious bootlegger Clyde Cassidy to smuggle-in liquor to be used to make delicious, bespoke cocktails.

You won’t find a set menu of drinks here…after all, it is prison! The working inmates of Block Two One Two will be serving unique, personalised cocktails behind bars using the liquor that visiting convicts will have smuggled in and your personal tastes. As new inmates you can expect to see your illegally smuggled liquor combined with liqueurs, bitters and homemade syrups to make bespoke, contemporary and classic cocktails perfect for your time behind bars.

Be as creative as you can with your attempts to smuggle-in liquor. Alternatively, Cassidy has got the Guards on your side who have their own system for hiding contraband. Just make sure the Warden doesn’t catch you.

Clyde Cassidy, Inmate #1408 managed to get a letter from inside the prison to the outside world:

“Convict, I hope this letter finds you well.

Prison life has its ups and downs but I have found a way to make it more bearable! Find a way to get a bottle of your favourite spirit into the joint and get it to me. Do not fear, having been America’s Most Wanted liquor smuggler you learn to keep your enemies close. I’ve got the Guards on my side….it’s The Warden you need to look out for!

You won’t find a drinks menu here…after all, it is a prison! The Guards have let me smuggle-in homemade syrups, juices and bitters from the outside, so if you can get your liquor inside, my gang will be sure to fix you something up that really tickles your fancy!
